This month - January 2013 - Elizabeth and I were in the Swindon Designer Outlet enjoying some shopping in this fabulous mall when we decided to pop into the GWR Steam Railway Museum opposite...
Liz was in the paying process when she asked if there was a "senior discount" "for my husband" the lovely Lady serving us was taken aback and said "...he doesn't seem old enough for a senior discount" to which I replied "Would you like to see my ID?" - I was given a senior discount and felt old! I will enjoy life and all it offers even if it is with a "senior pass"
It only seems like yesterday that I was being asked if I was 18 when in pubs.
